* PROVIDE HIS OR HER NAME, ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER; AND
* STATE THE PURPOSE OF ADDRESSING THE COUNCIL.

1. Call to Order.

3. Approval or Correction of Minutes of March 13, 2018 and March 29, 2018 meetings.

6. Consent Agenda:
Note: Consent Agenda items will be those items determined by the Town Manager to be routine matters not necessitating discussion. All Consent Agenda items may be voted upon simultaneously pursuant to a single motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Town Council requests that discussion be held, in which case the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately. Following passage of the remaining Consent Agenda items, discussion of any items removed from the Consent Agenda shall be held and separate motions and votes shall be taken for each of the items removed.
a. Approval of the terms of, and authorization for the Mayor to execute, an extension contract with North Alabama Fire Equipment Company relative to Fire Department turnout gear: bunker boots, turnout coats, turnout pants, suspenders, and fire hoods.
b. Approval and authorization for the Mayor to execute, a contract with Cummins Crosspoint relative to Fire Department generator maintenance.
c. Approval of the terms of, and authorization for the Mayor to execute, a contract with Yeary, Howell and Associates relative to audit services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.
d. Consideration of the declaration of surplus items.
e. Approval of the terms of, and authorization for the Mayor to execute, a contract with RJ Young relative to maintenance agreement for new copier at Town Hall.
f. Approval of the terms of, and authorization for the Mayor to execute, a rental agreement with Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, Inc. relative to the “The Adventures of Mr. Potato Head” exhibit in the Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center.
g. Approval of the terms of, and authorization for the Mayor to execute, a contract with Southeastern Compost relative to disposal of sludge from the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
h. Approval of the terms of, and authorization for the Mayor to execute, a professional services agreement with McKim & Creed relative to Inflow ad Infiltration (I & I) Sewer System Evaluation.
7. Old Business:
a. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration of a resolution relative to a Plan of Services for property located on Tax Map 56, Parcel 50.00.
b. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration of an ordinance relative to the annexation of property located on Tax Map 56, Parcel 50.00, containing approximately 16.71 acres (requested by RHB, LLC). Zoning would be R-3. The recommendation also includes the annexation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of the existing right-of-way of Baker Road. Property is located east of Baker Road south of Interstate 24. Second Reading.
c. Consideration of a resolution in memorandum of Ordinance #18-08 relative to the annexation and R-3 zoning of property located on Tax Map 56, Parcel 50.00.
d. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration of an ordinance relative to the rezoning of property located on Tax Map 28, Parcel 103.01, containing approximately 43.3 acres,
(requested by Shawn Collins), from R-3 to R-3. Property is located at the end of Williamsport Drive. Second Reading.
e. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration of an ordinance relative to adding language to Town of Smyrna Munic ipal Code, Title 13 “Property Maintenance Regulations”, specifically adding a Chapter 5 pertaining to “Vehicles Displayed for Sale, Rental, or Distribution”. Second Reading.
8. New Business:
a. Planning Commission Report:
i. Consideration of an ordinance relative to the annexation of property located on Tax Map 76, Parcel 12.02 containing approximately 7.6 acres (requested by Shawn
Collins). Zoning would be R-3. Property is also referenced by 6690 Almaville Road. First Reading.
ii. Consideration of an ordinance relative to the annexation of properties located on Tax Map 54, Parcels 55.00 and 56.01, and Tax Map 55, Parcel 31.00, containing a total
of approximately 30.3 acres. Zoning would be R-3. Property is also referenced by 7798, 7808, and 7840 Rocky Fork Almaville Road. First Reading.
b. Packaged Liquor Board Report: There were no applications for the Town Council to consider at this time.
c. Consideration of an ordinance relative to the amendment of Chapter 7 “Temporary Sign Provisions”, Section A “General Requirement” of the Town of Smyrna Sign Ordinance regarding banners. First Reading.
d. Consideration of an amendment to the Sister City Bylaws.
e. Appointment of one (1) member to the Storm Water Advisory Committee to serve a two (2) year term ending 2020.
